Back in Gainesville for Women's History Month

"Single Black Female in the Navy"

March was an exciting time for us at Words Off the Paper, Inc. We had the opportunity to showcase my play, "Single Black Female in the Navy," at the Hippodrome Cinema on March 23 and 24 in downtown Gainesville! It was a spectacular event. Some old cast was performing along with new cast members from the University of Florida and Acrosstown Theater. â€‹

However, the show wouldn't have been a success without the generous help of our sponsors like Alachua county, NEA, Visit Gainesville and Arts Council of Alachua County along with Chuy's Tex Mex, Big Mills Cheesesteaks, Gainesville Community Reinvestment Area, Crane's One Hour Cleaners and Ada's Clothes Repair.

Words Off the Paper, Inc. will have more upcoming events in the community, so keep checking back for more events! We hope to see you again soon.
